By MBTA:
Take the Red Line to Ashmont Station, then take MBTA bus #240 or #240A southbound. Exit at Randolph Avenue and Chickatawbut Road, Houghton's Pond is two miles west on Chickatawbut Road. From there, take the path that goes to your left (as you face the lake) past the public beach. After a couple hundred feet, you will come to picnic area 3. The Legends picnic site (site 4) is just to the left of this site and across a small road, next to a ball field.
By car:
Take Rt. 128 to Exit 3, Houghton's Pond.
Continue about 0.1 mile and turn right just after the 'Picnic site and Ballfield' sign. Travel down this road till it ends, you will pass 2 sets of speed bumps. The Legends site (Picnic site 4) will be on your right. There is parking next to the picnic site.
