Aid in return
by Jendrik of the Mists (in-game)on Mon Jun 23 15:36:09 2008
I owe the settlement a great debt. You people out of pure generosity brought me back from the very brink of shadow.
As some of you know I am an acolyte of the benefactor, and a student of warfare. I have leave from the benefactor to frequent the settlement and lend what aid I can.
Next moon I shall be meeting prospective students in the Library at the 3rd bell past high sun on the 6th day.
I will teach any who wish to learn the ability to use a weapon to do so. In the future I will be teaching more advanced techniques.
I ask any who would learn a weapon to take a minimum of one hours time to research the weapon of your choosing in the library between gatherings. I shall make available some memoirs of the great masters from all over Areth and beyond, as well as some of my more humble writings.

Glad to have you back, Jendrik. Thanks to all of you who helped him when he needed it.
-Master Xan Darkbringer of the Mists, formerly of Arbreth. Student of 'The Benefactor'...though I just call him Master.
Bah...I've never been one for titles.

Jendrik. I do not believe we have had the pleasure of meeting. If you have a bit of time before you get to your lessons, might I speak with you somewhere quietly? I fear I am not adept at conversing amidst a crowd, as I tend to speak too softly to be heard. I can oft be found in the Library.
May mists hide you from danger. Saalwheth of the Kia

Jendrik,
Thank ye as well for the help ye've already given us. That waterfall would ha' stayed purple withou' your aid.
I already know how t'use weapons, obviously, but if ye need a sparrin' partner for your students, I'd be glad t'help.
Best t'ye,
Kenna

Jendrik,
I would be happy to come and spar as well. And if you are interested in teaching advanced techniques, I am always happy to learn a new trick.
Cheers, Rotas

I thank all who have shown interest in my aid. For those who seek more advanced lessons, and those who offer assistance in training those who seek basic instruction, you are also welcome.
I am a student of all forms of combat and warfare. I have studied both under the tutelage of the great masters from all nations of Areth as well as those from other realms. Different perspectives are always welcome.
For those skilled in the martial arts who seek advanced studies, I implore you to begin anew with me. Choose a basic weapon unfamiliar to you and do some research on it. Train with it. Then as we become attuned with each other's focus, we can begin to explore more advanced techniques with your chosen style.
It is a place of strife in which you reside. Your collective efforts have made progress, but you still have a long and dangerous road ahead. I shall help however I may.
