I know many of you have been having a hard time finding the proper thickness of Pipe insulation to use on your weapons, so I decided to start a post where we can all list places we know of to find it.
Remember: all of your legends weaons need to be made with pipe insulation that has a 5/8 inch wall.

Ok, quick question. Is this stuff SERIOUSLY 5/8 inch thick?
I've been making weapons since 1995 and I have yet to really see a TRUE 5/8 foam. Even the excellent green stuff that went out of production way back was only 1/2 inch.

well, the stuff from the two hardware stores is ACTUALLY 5/8 inch thick. I just measured it myself.
Perhaps it would be better to say that you want the items that are packaged as having a 5/8" wall. These are still going to be thicker than those labled as 1/2"

1. You have the proper thickness pipe insulation for safe construction of weapons;
2. You have may colors of duct tape, including the ever-popular poop brown;
